Plot outline: Following the French atomic bomb tests in the South Pacific, an unknown creature is spotted passing westward through the Panama Canal. Godzilla then makes its way north, landing at Manhattan to begin wreaking havoc in the big city. Even with the combined forces of the U.S. military to fight the monster, will it be enough to save the people of New York? Summary written by Jean-Marc Rocher {rocher@tss.yh.nec.co.jp}
Comment: After seeing Roland Emmerich;s Godzilla remake, I like it, but after a while, it got boring (especially after seeing it the 4th time projected). But, it never stops getting entertaining (especially when you got the team that did Independence Day) despite stupid (yet sometimes funny) dialogue from the stars (Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer, etc.). Despite all that, the computer animation mixed into reality is amazing and it seems amazing anytime I watch it. Great fun, but not always great. A-
